Liz Godek 

A qualified Social Worker and Manager of Social Services Liz worked for the City of Edinburgh Children and Families Department for over 20 years. During that time she managed Residential Units, worked as a trainer with Employee Development and as Recruitment and Development Manager for Residential Chid Care. 

Liz has extensive knowledge of the complex issues which can impact on the lives of children, young people and their families. Liz has extensive experience in undertaking risk assessments and a knowledge of the complexity of family dynamics. 

Experience as Recruitment and Development Manager for Residential Child Care has afforded Liz an in-depth knowledge of competency based selection process including Job Descriptions and Person Specification Development, the Interviewing Process and the design of robust Assessment Centres specific to individual posts.
